I have seen a steady rise in the number of clients who come to see me for conditions related to hormone health in recent years. It was therefore fitting that I was asked to give a talk on the topic "Not Just Tired: The Hidden Impact of Hormones" at Huckletree a couple of weeks ago.
During the talk, I discussed the intrinsic connection between stress, diet, and hormones, highlighting how nutrition can influence hormonal balance and the key nutrients involved. I explored what happens during the perimenopause transition and how, as women, we can never start preparing too early for this phase of our lives. This came just in time ahead of #menopauseawarenessmonth this month.
The audience was very engaging, asking many questions at the end, which ranged from how I work with clients to stress as well as specific perimenopause concerns. All in all a great talk!
