I recently had the pleasure of joining wellness brand Bodyism at the Wellbeing at Work Summit in London to speak about how making changes to the way we connect at work through aspects such as nutrition and breath work can transform the way we work. We spoke alongside powerhouses such as Google, Netflix and L'Oréal who are leading the way with workplace wellness.
I spoke about how eating with colleagues or taking a moment during the day to catch up with a coworker over a coffee or matcha can not only have benefits for mental wellbeing, but can also foster creativity, productivity and inclusivity at work. The importance of having healthy nutritious food options, hydration stations and an awareness of the positive impacts a healthy diet can have, are all key to a thriving workplace. This followed with a short breath work session by Patrick Cavendish which helps to regulate our nervous system and lead to a calmer mental state.
